By New Baltimore.

Brisk march in heat of sun over New Baltimore.

About five o'clock rest in a forest.

Many prisoners are brought in by the cavalry.

We boil potatoes and cook coffee for the evening.

For the night four companies and the twenty-seventh regiment on picket duty.
